Creating a report through Home Reading
Once your mobile device is paired with the browser, you can use the DU PACSonWEB mobile app to start reporting.

Tip

tip Label
If you want to change the language for reporting, tap the language in the top right corner of the app.
1. In the browser, open the study that you want to work on.
For verification purposes, the patient's name and date of birth are displayed in the app on your mobile device.
2. Tap the microphone icon in the DU PACSonWEB mobile app or in the browser to activate speech recognition.
The microphone icon will turn red once speech recognition has been activated.

If the report window is not yet displayed in the browser, click on Show report in the app or open the report in the browser from the series picker.
3. Start dictating.
The recognized text will appear in both the DU PACSonWEB mobile app and the browser window.

Important

If the microphone does not detect any speech for 20 seconds, speech recognition will be deactivated. This is indicated by a system sound.
4. Once you have completed the report, verify and save it in the browser window.
A report can be saved as a draft, preliminary report, or validated report.

Note Label
In case the RIS from the hospital supports incoming ORU, a message can be sent from DeepUnity PACSonWEB to update the internal information systems. Depending on the desired configuration, the message will be sent when the associated report status is set to: draft, preliminary, or validated.

The recognized text is not always 100% correct. It is the responsibility of the radiologist to verify the correctness of the report before validation.
