Pairing your device for Home Reading
In order to create a report through Home Reading, you need to establish a link between the DeepUnity PACSonWEB browser session on your computer and the DU PACSonWEB mobile app on your mobile device.
1. Log in to DeepUnity PACSonWEB on your computer with your account.
If Home Reading has been enabled for your DeepUnity PACSonWEB account, the Home Reading icon will be available from the top toolbar.
2. Click the icon to display a QR code for pairing your mobile device.
3. On your mobile device, open the DU PACSonWEB mobile app, select HOME READING, and scan the QR code.
The app will send a pairing request with an arbitrary code to the browser. A notification will pop up in your browser, displaying the device that is used (type, operating system, and name) and the code from the pairing request.
4. If the code displayed in your browser matches the code shown in the app, click Accept within 30 seconds.
◦ If the pairing was declined or was not accepted in time, an error message will be displayed on your mobile device.
◦ If the paring was successful, your mobile device will be displayed as connected in the browser as well as in the app.
The pairing status is indicated by the color of the Home Reading icon.
• White: The browser is not paired with a mobile device.
• Orange: The browser has been paired with a mobile device but the device is not available.
• Green: The browser is paired with a mobile device and can be used for dictating reports.
